June 11, 2011 - Ken Aldrich and Betsy (Lau) Aldrich are married.

Betsy and I spent New Years in Belize.  We rented a beach condo on a tropical island with her sister Sharon and friends Steve and Pat.

It was a great week full of jungle adventure, Mayan ruins, cave exploration, snorkeling with sharks, enjoying the nightlife, plenty of lobster and rum, and lots of lazy beach time.  Check out the gallery:

Hiking, fishing, white water rafting, animal watching, visiting, and partying.  I always have a great time when I stay with Jeff at Glacier National Park.

Got in some good trail time along the US / Canadian border.  Saw a Grizzly Bear at about 200 feet.  Here is a list of some of the wildlife I saw: snowshoe hare, deer, bald eagle, great blue heron, redtail hawk, kingfisher, beaver, coyote, various woodpeckers (pileated, three-toed) , various ducks (mallard, merganser), grizzly bear, moose.

We have returned from Europe! We had a great time in Vienna, Austria / Bratislava, Slovakia / Modra, Slovakia / Budapest, Hungary / Prague, Czech Republic.  We hope to see Ralf, Ana, Nadya, and Renee again soon.

Betsy, Dave, Mindy, and myself are building an 8 foot by 12 foot backyard shed from scratch.
